Dave and Rob have been struggling to get podcasts up on a regular schedule, lol, but that isn't what they sat down to talk about. :)

Rather, they go into the importance of facing adversity, losing, tasting defeat, and being able to cope with the consequences. In a world where there are participation medals from first to 20th place, grading systems changing to avoid using "failing", and kids sports that won't keep score - we have a generation growing up that doesn't know how to lose even in the most meaningless of ways. So the two breakdown the importance of struggling and the many benefits it can bring.

2020 has thrown us so many curve balls that even Sandy Koufax would have to bow down to. In the fight world, we have had our share of these cruel jokes, and Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul is definitely among them.

One of them is a boxing legend with an unblemished 50-0 record. The other is YouTube star with an 0-1 record. They aren't even remotely in the same weight class, experience, or skill level.

It's a freak show.

Dave and Rob return after a month long hiatus with UFC #1 Ranked Welterweight Contender Gilbert “Durinho” Burns.

Durinho was slated to fight UFC Champion Kamaru Usman on Fight Island, but unfortunately fell ill to COVID-19 and was replaced by Jorge Masvidal. Burns fills us in on how it felt getting sick and watching the fight from home.

He then shares a lot of his mental process – from preparing for a training camp, self talk, his motivation to fight, and much more.
